DR. CHRISTIAN WILDHAGEN

Hej! My name is Christian.

I am the founder and owner of WILDHAGEN NORDISK KONSULT.

In the last 1.5 decades of my business life, I have had the opportunity to learn from multiple smart colleagues and even smarter customers in different industries (financial services, strategic political consulting, defence industry - optical technologies, mechatronic systems, power supply - and aerospace) and several countries.

I have worked in several leading positions as a bulletproof senior sales professional, as a strategic political advisor, as an international business developer and as a public affairs expert.

My academic background and lifelong learning approach provide me with a solid and growing basis. I have a PhD in Political Philosophy, a Master's Degree in Political Science and Economics and a Master of Science in Finance and Strategic Management plus additional qualifications like: a "MBA Essentials Certificate" from the London School of Economics and Political Science, a "M&A and Corporate Development Strategies Certificate" from The Wharton School (University of Pennsylvania) et cetera.

Join the Navy, see the World.

I spent the first 1.5 decades (before the above mentioned phase) in the German Navy and almost the half of it at sea and seagoing ships. "Join the Navy, see the World" is a promise the Navy kept in my case and still keeps for the active personnel.

During my active duty as a Lieutenant, I had the pleasure to lead several excellent teams at sea and at land - as well in military operations as in less challenging environments.

I am still  greatful that I was deployed in diplomatic assignments in the Mexican Navy, at the German Embassy in Buenos Aires (Argentina) and in the international staff of a French Admiral in the Persian Gulf.

Since then, I am a reserve officer - with several exciting engagements such as a political advisor at the NATO HQ in Brussels and currently as a senior lecturer at the Bundeswehr Command and Staff College (Führungsakademie der Bundeswehr) in Hamburg.

I love the ocean.

EXTRAORDINARY PERFORMANCE starts at the individual level. So, I am continuously working on my mental and physical development to become better day by day.

And, if you do not reach me, I might be out for a swim. I love the ocean. Therefore, I am an all-season open water swimmer and swimrunner.
